Project Scope
Project Description
San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), is seeking to award one (1) agreement (“contract”) to a federally recognized non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to assist the City with a “community-led” program inspired by the participatory process through which the Market Street Redevelopment Plan was originally created and the history of Market Street as a shared community space. SFPW is interested in proposals for educational, interpretive, or commemorative public programs that provide new insights on the public’s historical or contemporary experiences of Market Street, commemorate Market Street’s long history; and celebrate the diverse and vibrant communities that live, work, and play along Market Street.

Requirements
  1. ONLY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
  2. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than May 20, 2022, 4:00 P.M. by email to the Contract Administrator at: ContractAdmin.Staff@sfdpw.org referencing Sourcing Event ID in the email subject line.
  3. Applicants shall submit Proposals as specified and required in the RFP. Late submittals will not be considered.
  4. This Contract is subject to the requirements of Administrative Code Chapter 12X, which prohibits the City from entering into any Contract with a Consultant that has its headquarters in states (Covered State) with anti-LGBT and restrictive abortion laws. A list of states on the Covered State List is available at the website of the City Administrator at http://sfgsa.org/chapter-12x-anti-lgbt-state-ban-list.
  5. There is no Local Business Enterprise subcontracting requirement for this RFP.
