Requirements
  1. San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), seeks to award up to one grant for each service area to qualified non-profit organizations through the evaluation and selection process as described in the attached RFP.
  2. Program Area A Sunset Boulevard Education-Based Maintenance and Community Engagement Program; 1 Award; Not to Exceed $130,000
  3. Program Area B Ortega-Pacheco at 37th Community-Based Nature Play and Habitat Restoration Program; 1 Award; Not to Exceed $50,000
  4. Program Area C Win Win for Safety and Beauty Along Junipero Serra Blvd Program; 1 Award; Not to Exceed $25,000
  5. Program Area D Sidewalk Gardens for Ocean Avenue Program; 1 Award; Not to Exceed $25,000
  6. Successful Proposals will be funded for a term of twelve months. The Maximum Budget Request listed for each Program Area for the initial project term is an estimate and subject to change at any point during the grant term pending final budget approval by the City and County of San Francisco. A pre-proposal conference will not be conducted for this RFP. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than Thursday, February 2, 2023, 4:00 P.M. by email to Grant Administrator Robynn Takayama at: robynn.takayama@sfdpw.org.
  7. Applicants shall submit their application as specified and required in the RFP no later than 4:00:00 P.M. Pacific Time on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. The Department may modify the RFP prior to the Proposal due date by issuing an Addendum to the RFP; please check http://www.sfpublicworks.org/biddocs for updates. Late submittals may not be considered unless you provide evidence of a software error.
