Pressure Washing Workforce Development Program San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), a department of the City and County of San Francisco (City), seeks to award one grant to a fully established 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Francisco through the evaluation and selection process as described in the RFP. To provide workforce development and job training opportunities though pressure washing services on designated sidewalks and hotspots in San Francisco. $400,000 (Maximum Budget Request)

Requirements
  1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: San Francisco Public Works seeks one nonprofit partner to support workforce participants in developing careers beyond the program by connecting them to employment and apprenticeship opportunities at Public Works, other public agencies, non-profit partners, and private companies. Workforce participants will provide pressure washing services on designated sidewalks and hotspots in San Francisco to ensure clean citywide alleys, sidewalks, and rights-of-way. The Maximum Budget Request is $400,000 for a term of 12 months with an option to extend for a maximum of 12 additional months. The program must start no later than July 1, 2026.

  5. SUBMISSION: The Department may modify the RFP prior to the Proposal due date by issuing an Addendum to the RFP; please check https://bsm.sfdpw.org/ContractAdmin/Login.aspx for updates. Applicants shall submit their application as specified and required in the RFP no later than Wednesday May 27, 2026, 5:00 P.M.. Late submittals may not be considered unless you provide evidence of a software error.
